The design is stitched in a 5 inch wooden hoop, with six gorgeous DMC embroidery threads, using backstitch, running stitch, split back stitch, long and short stitch, and French knots.

These stitches, and the simple appliqué technique, are the basis for most of the Craftpod embroideries, so this makes a great kit for complete beginners and beyond.
